A one day Workshop with Jean Riley

10 am to 4 pm at the Bindery, Writers Centre, Callan Park Balmain Rd, Rozelle
Course Fee: $85 Includes all materials.

- Skill Level: for beginners upward,.
- You will learn how to back silk with paper for use in covering books.
- You will then be introduced to six different styles of oriental stitching for making books and will produce a set of small sample books in a protective case for future reference.
- Finally you will use your silk backed cloth and the sewing style of your choice to create your own oriental style book. Full directions for the sewing styles will be given and these directions can be used in your final book
